Professor Bernard “Bun B” Freeman and Dr. Pinn of Rice University’s HERE Project put together this Special Event: THE ETHICS OF HIP HOP Panel Discussion, which featured some surprise guests including: Talib Kweli x Tre9 x Trae Tha Truth x Lupe Fiasco x Malice of The Clipse. This was the 2nd event of its kind open to the public as an extension of the Rice University Class Bun and Dr. Pinn are co-teaching this semester on Hip Hop & Religion.

Yesterday Russell Simmons joined Htown’s own Professor Bernard “Bun B” Freeman and the H.E.R.E. Project at Duncan Hall on the Rice University Campus for a 1 hour session with students of Bun and Dr. Pinn’s Hip Hop & Religion class.
Uncle Rush is currently on his book tour for “Super Rich: A Guide To Having It All” so most of the discussion centered on spirituality and the core topics of his book such as meditation and yoga.
